June 13, 2012, Disney California Adventure held the Cars Land Grand Opening and Premiere Party at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. All the big wigs from Disney/Pixar were there including the President and CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Tom Staggs, and the creator of Cars, John Lasseter!
They introduced us to the new land and brought by some of their friends from the Cars movies, including Bonnie Hunt, Jenifer Lewis, and Larry the Cable Guy!
